～～英語のリズムの大切さ～～
英語はリズムが大切、と英会話初心者の方でも
これまで何度か聞いたことがあると思います。
でも実際に、それを実践することは簡単ではありません。
そのため、つい、文法や、お決まりのフレーズの
暗記を優先してしまう人も多いようです。
英語のリズムを習得することは英会話力向上の、
大きな突破口になりうるのです。
英語独特のリズムを知らないと、
ネイティブには聞き取ることが出来なかったり、
通じない、ということが起きてきます。
これまで、多くの言語学の研究分野でもの
英語のリズムの大切さを説いています。
リズムやイントネーションのほうが個々の音の発音よりも大切で、
リズムやイントネーションの変化は、
聞き取る側の理解度を大きく左右する、と言われています。
英語を日本語のように強弱をつけずに平坦な発音をしてしまうと、
退屈しているか、
熱意がないのだと感じさせてしまう可能性もあるのです。
初心者英会話から始めるからこそ、
初めの段階で、イントネーションを意識して学ぶことは、
とても意味があるということですね。
